Masha Maskina
I’m an art advisor and the founder of Maskina Art Ventures which is a creative consultancy that helps individuals and businesses to build and manage art collections. I also acted as Curatorial Director at LaCollection.io, NFT platform for cultural institutions, where I helped art galleries and museums to create projects for the NFT space.
Prior to founding Maskina Art Ventures, I served as Finance Business Partner at Schneider Electric and as Senior Manager of Business Operations at IPC Systems, a financial technologies and services firm. At IPC Systems I structured and negotiated high value complex deals spanning across multiple geographies, currencies and business models, and also founded Women’s Interactive Network (WIN) targeted at the development of women in leadership roles. Before joining IPC Systems, I held various positions in corporate financial management at Etrali Trading Solutions, Universcience, Atos and Ipsos.
An avid art lover with a strong belief that art can impact the way we live and think, and that artists are contemporary philosophers and healers of our society, I regularly travel across major world art hubs. Considering that art could converge with other eco-spheres, I am constantly looking for new and creative ways to engage in this dialogue. I collect works by emerging artists, curate shows for art fairs and work spaces, and also host art salons at my home. I am also an advocate for gender diversity in the art world, emphasizing the role women collectors play by supporting art works which resonate with their sensitivity and vision of the world’s future.
I graduated from the IESE Business School executive program Driving Leadership Potential. I also attended The Negotiation and Leadership Workshop in Harvard Law School and followed education in Art Business at Christie’s Education and Sotheby’s Institute of Art. I am fluent in English, French and Russian.
